Kick off the weekend with a warm welcome and ribbon-cutting ceremonies, followed by live music and entertainment at Shoeless Joe’s in the evening. Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, live music, a Kawasaki motorcycle showcase, balloon twisting, and face painting on Saturday, all free of charge! On Sunday, celebrate Father’s Day with our vibrant farmers’ market, live music, and our classic Trenton Cruise Nights local car show. HFM is more than just a market—it’s a celebration of our local culture, craftsmanship, and community. Celebrate Father’s Day at our farmers’ market, featuring 12 seasonal and local vendors and multiple occasional vendors. Occasional vendors are welcome to join this special weekend.

Homestead Marketplace is the perfect spot for families to come together to shop, eat, and play, all while giving back to our beloved community. We’ve been a part of the Quinte West community for over 65 years and can’t wait to bring you this exciting new destination! Located at 6 Douglas Road, our 18-acre property will feature over 165,000 sq. ft. of premium national retailers, casual dining restaurants, a fully-licensed sports grill, and a unique 18-hole adventure golf and high ropes park.
History
We’ve been a proud part of our community since 1957. That makes us a third-generation, family-run business with stories that could fill a book. Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane, shall we? It all began with Van Luven Furniture, initially located on Front Street downtown Trenton, later known as Eden’s Furniture. In 1983, we became one of the first Leon’s Furniture franchises in Canada. But we didn’t stop there! The journey continued with Custom Carts in 2006, The Battery Outlet 10 years later, and The Factory Store in 2018.
In 2022, we became Homestead Marketplace, a group of 12 locally owned and operated companies with a name that perfectly captures our essence. And we’re still growing. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to many more years of serving and growing with you, Quinte West!
