Whether you’re looking to support a good cause, fill your volunteer hours, or get into the Halloween spirit, we have the volunteering opportunity for you! Help us bring Halloween at Homestead to life! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to welcome guests, guide them through the haunted maze, pick their perfect pumpkin, process payments, and add a touch of spooky spirit.
Why volunteer?
- Be part of a family-friendly community event
- Support Volunteer and Information Quinte (VIQ) (100% of maze donations go directly to them) and Food for Learning (all proceeds from pumpkin sales go directly to them).
- Enjoy the festive atmosphere while making a real impact.
#4 Ultimate Fan Cheer Zone

Simply like, and share our Facebook post about the ultimate fan and you could be randomly selected to win three tickets to see the Trenton Golden Hawks!
#3 Halloween Walk-Through
Dare to enter our haunted maze – filled with eerie twists, spooky sights and just the right amount of fright! Every step you take helps our community. A minimum $5 donation is your ticket inside, with 100% of proceeds supporting VIQ, a local organization dedicated to strengthening volunteerism. Last year, together we raised $5,000 – let’s aim even higher this year!
#2 Pumpkinfest
Pick your perfect pumpkin! Whether you’re carving, decorating, or baking, we’ve got plenty to choose from. Thanks to generous donations from Lakeshore Farms, pumpkins are just $7 each or $25 for all you can carry. Every purchase supports Food for Learning, a program that ensures students have access to nutritious meals. With your help, we’re striving to reach our $2,000 fundraising goal this year!
#1 Park After Dark
Our number one activity to try this fall is an electrifying round of glow-in-the-dark mini putt at the Homestead Adventure Park. It’s the perfect way to compete with your closest friends and family while getting into the Halloween spirit. This 18-hole course will take you on an adventure through the history of Quinte West. Putt your way through fun and exciting obstacles that highlight our past ties to the lumber industry, the Trent Severn waterway, our military roots, and even the film industry.
