Happy Thanksgiving
As the leaves turn, the air cools, and we gather with friends and family, Thanksgiving invites us to pause and reflect. At Homestead Marketplace, one thing stands out above all else: we are deeply thankful for you — our community.
Your support makes everything possible. From summer nights filled with laughter at Quinte Bike Nights, Trenton Cruise Nights, and Market Square, to live music at Shoeless Joe’s, you’ve been at the heart of it all. This season of gratitude is also a season of change: we’ve welcomed new faces and fresh ideas, including the launch of our first-ever Antique Market.
On September 27 and 28, we proudly hosted the inaugural Homestead Antique Market, welcoming 24 incredible vendors. Together, we raised more than $4,000 in support of Volunteers and Information Quinte, an organization dedicated to fostering volunteerism and ensuring everyone has access to essential community services. Your generosity made this milestone possible — and we couldn’t be prouder.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to keep the spirit of giving alive. Halloween at Homestead is in full swing, with Pumpkinfest and our Halloween Walk-Through bringing thrills for all ages. Proceeds will once again support local charities, and with your help, we’re aiming to exceed our fundraising goals this year.
Of course, fall at Homestead is about more than events. It’s about gathering, connecting, and preparing for the season ahead. Whether you’re:
- Catching all the NFL action at Shoeless Joe’s
- Savoring cozy flavours with Eggsmart’s Fall Festive Menu (available through November)
- Refreshing your home with autumn décor and timeless furniture at Leon’s
- Stocking up on firewood and need a chainsaw or buying a new snowblower at the Factory Store
- Or ensuring your car is winter-ready with new tires from Six Douglas
— you’ll find everything you need right here at Homestead Marketplace.
This season, we invite you to join us — at our events, in our shops, and in celebrating the spirit of community that makes Trenton so special. Together, let’s make this fall one to remember.
From all of us at Homestead Marketplace, thank you for your support and friendship. We’re grateful to share this season with you, and we wish you a warm, joyful, and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving.
With thanks,
The Homestead Marketplace Team
